Don’t say the word “try.” It’s detrimental to our confidence. What does “try” actually imply? It suggests that you might attempt something but not succeed, or that you might fail. When we say, “I’ll try to do that,” we all know how it might turn out. Instead, say, “I’ll give it a shot,” “I’ll do it,” or “I’ll let you know how it goes.” These alternatives are much more positive. When we use the word “try,” there’s an underlying assumption that we might not actually succeed. Removing this word from your vocabulary is a great way to boost your confidence.
By the way, confidence looks amazing on you.
